Open Spaces has achieved growth organically due to
our philosophy on service provision: Open Spaces has extensive knowledge and ability, which would assist in the recruitment process and procedures. Open Spaces can offer the following recruitment services
in order to assist in the process:
Because of the high level of service provided, Open Spaces have become suppliers to major organizations throughout the UK and have therefore implemented standard service levels agreements. The agreements can be amended to suit individual client needs and currently include the following: • Providing a dedicated account manager. • Undertaking sufficient on-going recruitment campaigns in order to meet current and future demands, making efforts to anticipate market trends. • Undertaking an on-going service level appraisal for contract staff and reporting back to the client in the form of a Quality Performance Review. • Carrying out independent customer satisfaction surveys on an annual basis, and providing a copy of the report to the client. • Providing management information as agreed to enable effective control of contract staff provision. • All timesheets and other paperwork is made available to the client. Reports are provided as agreed to ensure an efficient and effective service is sufficiently monitored and continually improved upon.
Open Spaces has an internal ITRIS Recruitment database containing the details of over 10,000 candidates all of whom are registered directly with Open Spaces within the last 5 years. The split between permanent and contract is currently 60% contract candidates and 40% permanent, although there is a large of amount of crossover within this depending on market forces. In addition to our own internal database, Open Spaces also has access to many online database systems, which include Monster.co.uk, containing the details of over 3,000,000 candidates and Hot Group containing over 650,000 candidates with approximately 60% of these being permanent candidates.
The Open Spaces internal database has an excellent search facility, which enables consultants and resourcers to word search CV's or field search up to 100 different criteria. The search criteria utilizes the Fuzzy Logic functionality within ITRIS which provides a very powerful tool for selecting candidate groups by skills, candidates groups by geographical location and candidate groups by availability. We can email job specifications or alerts (for review) to any selective candidate group within minutes of receiving it.
In order to ensure all candidates are as close a match as possible we follow the stringent guidelines listed. • The individuals have been fully briefed and have a complete
understanding of all technical and interpersonal requirements and fulfil
the needs of the requirements in these areas. Open Spaces believes in following pre-screening procedures to ensure the best candidates are selected for submission. When Open Spaces has received a request/requirement from a client we automatically input this into our recruitment database (ITRIS), which then searches for all appropriate candidates who match the client request/requirement. All appropriate candidates are then contacted by the Open Spaces Resource Consultant via the telephone, should any of the candidates be interested in the position, details of the request/requirement are forward to them by email for review. ITRIS gives us a unique advantage in contacting specific candidate groups almost immediately if required. Technical Testing Open Spaces are able to offer various tests levels as part of any retained level of service as selected by the Client. Open Spaces offers the option to select the appropriate level, which is then used as the standard test on applicants where appropriate. Technical testing is carried out on-line in conjunction with Teckchek who are the world leaders in technical proficiency testing for every technology from legacy systems to the latest development tools. The various technical skills tests are available are various levels, as detailed below:
Open Spaces pricing policy is based on a flexible approach to our Client’s needs and is dependent on factors including volume, duration and skills, and reflects the level of service that we can provide. In the case of preferred supplier status via managed agencies we are able to provide the same quality service at significantly lower margins, and would accordingly propose the following pricing policy. Permanent Recruitment All placement fees for permanent recruitment will be based on a fee of 20% of the total remuneration. Should any applicant that Open Spaces has introduced and who is subsequently employed, resign from the client company within 3 months, Open Spaces will refund the fee in full.
