Apigee Solution Architect UK Wide

 Apigee Solution Architect (Microservices, API) 

  
You will be a key member of a large software development program, comprised of multiple teams working together to modernize and enhance existing applications and develop new business solutions. You will participate in all aspects of architecture, design and development.  You will work with business stakeholders, different application owners, developers, and infrastructure architects/ engineers to design solutions using API, Microservices and Cloud platforms. 
  
Role Responsibilities:
Produce architecture and high level design to answer to the client requirements.
Work with designers and developers in the team to guide them through the solution implementation.
Participate in performing Proof of Concept (POC) for various upcoming technologies to fit in business requirement.
Provide clarity and communicate technology solutions across different audiences including technical, managerial, business executives and/or vendors.
Collaborate with internal and external technical resources to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
Contribute to driving architecture strategy to keep it aligned with the enterprise architecture.
Establish technical standards, including SW coding standards, tools, and platforms
Drive reuse, standards, architecture best practices, and longer term value of the architecture.
Participate in planning and design events
Experience in evaluating vendor products is a plus.
 
Required Skills:
Strong Experience across Micro Services Architecture and API driven Architecture.
Strong Experience of Apigee platform
Strong Experience across Restful APIs, Caching, Java, Spring Framework, Oracle DB, Oauth 2.0, AWS, Load Balancing, PT Strategy, Capacity Planning,  , Eureka, Hystrix, Cloud Systems, JMS
Strong knowledge in applying patterns such as Object Oriented, Integration, and application design patterns.
Knowledge of DevOps.
Knowledge of infrastructure and security standards
Certification from the product vendor is a plus
