Telco Engagement Director - UK based

Key responsibilities: 

As an Engagement Director you are responsible for the account relationships on an executive level.

Work with the client partners and ISU leadership to ensure revenue growth and quality delivery on transformational projects.

Responsible for the execution of all transformational activities on one (or more) accounts.

Accountable for the successful delivery of entire programmes for transformation projects.
Responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the programme.

Produce recognized pieces of transformational thought leadership and present at industry events.
Engage in significant business development activities jointly with ISU and MMU leadership to broaden the footprint and increase the overall revenue base.

 

Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities:

Oversee overall delivery roadmaps with your teams to ensure deadlines, goals, and overall objectives are met to the client’s satisfaction.
Collaborate with the engagement managers/programme managers in the management of overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the programme(s).
Oversee programme level status, metrics, issues and risks
Oversee various transformational programmes, implementing business process improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients
Leverage your broad business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modelling, technical design, application development, integration and enablement.
Provide leadership and guidance to engagement directors and client executives involved in the programmes
Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.

 

Key Skills/Knowledge:

Must be experienced and able to demonstrate having worked effectively at C-Suite level and has delivered significant results. 

Leading major business transformation programmes from initiation to fulfilment and hand-over to the client

Understanding of business architecture, business process development techniques

MSP,  Prince2 accreditation (or equivalent)

Stakeholder engagement and management at Director / ‘CxO’ level 

Effective leadership with results orientation

Strong relationship skills with proven track record

Highly effective facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills 

Strong presentation skills (verbal and written) using all media types including standard MS Office tools

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Client Staff

Ability to produce white papers and speak at conferences.

 

Experience required:

Must have a minimum 10+ years relevant professional consulting experience

Must have 10+ years non-consulting role experience 

Extensive Telecoms domain knowledge with understanding of current market trends

Experience of major ERP led transformation / implementation

Exposure to IT and business process outsourcing

Business transformation ideally IT enabled

Experience of working in a complex, volatile and changing environment and deliver results.
