Job Purpose and primary objectives:    
As Consulting Partner/ Industry Advisor, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and help create demand in marketing advisory offerings in different areas including but not limited to:    
     
Marketing Technology    
Marketing Strategy and Brand    
Product Marketing    
Campaign Management and Promotions    
Marketing Insight - Analytics and Attribution    
Customer Experience and Insights    
Channel Modernization    
Marketing Operations - Lead to Cash    
Commerce and Marketplace    
     
You will work with the account teams and/or by engaging through advisory and consulting service understand customer’s business challenge and opportunities. This can also be by doing landscape analysis, conducting “thought leadership” workshops.     
Then create a differentiating value proposition including our relevant offerings and help in closing the opportunity.    
     
The job will also involve improving our positioning by publishing white papers, analyst interactions, speaking in leading industry events, podcasts, and webinars. Membership in leading marketing forums would be of added advantage.   
 
Key responsibilities:     
Works with the regional leadership team to increase the quantity and quality of opportunities, and realize targets     
Provides support for select strategic opportunities in the Demand Capture pipeline    
Responsible for the overall quality of deliverables (proposition-related artefacts, presentations, demos etc.)      
Create new opportunities and scoping them for building a healthy pipeline    
Work closely with relevant practice teams to shape the proposition    
Partner with the Marketing Strategy and Support Teams to develop a strategic profile for a client (outside-in analysis)    
Develop POVs, including participation in industry events and seminars, to improve branding for the client    
Develop Whitepapers on seminal topics and ensure publication of the same in leading industry journals, to improve branding for the client    
Become a vocal brand evangelist, highlighting the role of the client as a ‘thought leader’ in the marketing domain within the Department.    
     
Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities:    
Partner with the regional leadership teams (including Segment Heads and Client Partners) to ensure adequate coverage and response to all the opportunities with their respective clients
Oversee Progress/Status with the correct metrics, including issues and risks     
Ensure adequate balance between Demand Creation and Demand Capture opportunities, while realising TCV targets    
Leverage his/her broad business and technical expertise to address Business & Technology architecture, Business Modelling, Enablement etc.    
Provide leadership and guidance to all the team members    
Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and proposals    
     
Key Skills/Knowledge:    
Must be experienced and able to demonstrate having worked effectively at C-Suite level and has delivered significant results.     
Stakeholder engagement and management at EVP/VP/Director level     
Effective leadership with results orientation    
Leading major Marketing and Digital Transformation programs from initiation to fulfilment and transition to client in different areas including “Lead to Cash” and “Customer Service” area.
Strong understanding of Marketing processes in Communications, Media and Information Services segment (Telecom preferable) Lead to Cash value chain, customer challenges, Marketing KPIs, new trends, new solutions and opportunities.    
Strong Understanding of Customer Service value chain, customer challenges, business KPIs, new trends, new solutions and opportunities.    
Strong Understanding of trends in “Digital Engagement area” and experience in advising clients on transforming Digital Engagement layer.    
Understanding of Industry/Business and Marketing Technology Trends, with the ability to assess the impact of Technology on Business Drivers and vice-versa     
Strong relationship skills with proven track record with CMOs in Communications, Media and Information Services area preferably telecom in the respective geographies    
Highly effective facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills     
Strong presentation skills (verbal and written) using all media types including standard MS Office tools    
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.    
Ability to produce white papers and speak at conferences    
     
Experience required:    
Relevant professional Advisory/Consulting experience      
Extensive Marketing knowledge in Communications, Media and Information Services, with a profound understanding of the current market trends    
Exposure to alignment of IT and Business stakeholders needs     
Experience of working in a complex, volatile and changing environment and deliver results    
     
Person Specification:    
Client facing, particularly having the ability to work at senior Business, Marketing & IT levels including. C-Suite experience / ability is highly preferred    
Communication and presentation skills    
Ability to demonstrate thought leadership on a broad range of topics, relevant to the Digital Trends within the Communications, Media and Information Services industries     
Ability to lead and support a team    
Able to work under own initiative
